Introduction

In a lot of ways, I’m a retro technologist. I work in tech, live & breath the stuff. Yet I’m drawn to mechanical things that are inconvenient and old. A good example of this is the record player. At pretty much all times of the day i’m within reach of close to every song recorded in the last 100 years.

So why are record players back in fashion?

• They are cool

• They are warm

• They are tech illiterate

• They are inconvenient
